Summer Art Camps 2017
Art Camps are for ages 7-10 years of age
Meet the Masters, Louisiana style! (July 17 - July 21)
Come learn about and create projects based on local and regional artists! Paint with vivid watercolors like Walter Anderson, make your own George Rodrigue inspired “blue dog” and much more!
Drawsome! (July 24 - July 28)
Calling all drawing lovers! In this camp, young artists will hone their drawing skills, learn new techniques as well as use their endless imagination to create countless works of art!
Around the World! (July 31st - August 4th)
Come learn and experience art traditions from all over the world! Make a mask inspired by the many different African Harvest festivals, fold and print your own lucky red envelope, learn traditional Japanese origami folds, experience Huichol Indian yarn art and much more!
CAMP FEES & CANCELLATIONS
Before Care (7:30am – 8:44am): $8.00 per day (charged on a daily basis)
After Care (3:01pm – 5:30pm): $15.00 per day (charged on a daily basis)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Museum REQUIRES that campers be signed up for before and after care at the time of registration and paid in advance when paying for camp. We no longer can allow campers to stay for before and after care without advanced sign-up and payment. Refunds will not be given for cancelled or non-attended before and after care.
n 30 days or more from start date of registered camp – 100% refund
n Under 30 days, but more than two (2) weeks from start date of registered camp – 50% refund
n No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than two weeks from start date of registered camp.
Camp registration will close the Wednesday before Camp begins or when camp is full.
